Dear Whalley Little League Families,

We are proud to announce that Whalley Little League will once again be participating in the 2024 Surrey Santa Parade of Lights in Cloverdale on Sunday, Dec 1st. Due to the number of participants and community interest, this will be the biggest parade in the city’s history.

We are calling on all families to join us in the festivities, wear your Whalley colours, and show off your league spirit. Let’s make this a memorable event with as many players and parents as possible.

Our parade entry will feature a decorated lead truck towing our float trailer, players and families marching in the middle, and a decorated truck at the rear. Players will have the opportunity to march, hold our banners, or hand out candy canes. The procession will move slowly and safely over a route of approximately six blocks.

We have been challenged as a league by the parade organizers to bring out as many families as possible, so let’s rise to the occasion and fill the streets with Whalley pride! It’s a fantastic opportunity for the players to create lasting memories with their league friends as we look forward to the upcoming season.
