Junior Division
The Junior League Baseball Division is a program for boys and girls ages 13-14, Diamond size is 80 and 90 foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches.
Two International Tournament Teams (or “All Stars”) of 12-14-year-olds are selected from within this division (Intermediate and Junior). The culmination of the International Tournament is the IntermediateJunior League Baseball World Series, featuring teams from around the world. All expenses for the teams advancing to the World Series (travel, meals and housing) are paid by Little League International.
Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in this teenage division of Little League. After completing a Little League volunteer application and passing a required police background check, parents may become involved in practices, and be eligible as coaches, managers, umpires, local league board members and other volunteer positions within the league.

Junior Player Evaluations
Building off Whalley Little League’s success at the 2024 Little League World Series representing Team Canada, we are pleased to announce that we are creating two new high performance AA teams in the 13/14 year old Jr. Division and 15/16 year old Sr. Division.
We will be holding a series of tryouts for both age groups starting on January 25th and 26th.
Details are below:
Group 1 – January 25th @ 10am-12pm for 13/14 Year Old Players.
Group 2- January 25th @ 12pm-2pm for 13/14 Year Old Players.
Group 3 – January 26th @ 2pm-4pm for 15/16 Year Old Players.
Group 4 – January 26th @ 4pm-6m for 15/16 Year Old Players.
This tryout is open to all new and returning players. You may attend any of the available timeslots, however we ask that if you are planning to attend to please email Ben Whitney, our Jr. / Sr. Player Agent at juniors@whalleylittleleague.com
All Tryouts will be held in the Sr. Batting Cage at Whalley Athletic Park, in Surrey.
